Does Kia Have an Electric Car?

Yes, Kia does have an electric car for sale. However, all of the Kia EV cars are SUVs that have an outstanding range. Any of these models will work well for your family-friendly drives in Brandon.

Kia Electric Vehicles

There are seven Kia electric vehicles currently in production or on the way. They all have varying sizes and degrees of electrification. Some of the Kia electric SUVs are hybrids, meaning they run partially on electricity while the gasoline engine recharges the hybrid battery. Others are plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) that require you to plug in the battery overnight to charge your Kia electric SUV. The third kind is pure EVs which derive all of their power from electricity.

Kia EV6

Driving a Kia EV6 is like piloting a spacecraft rather than driving an SUV with all of its interior amenities. The base MSRP of this Kia electric vehicle starts at $42,600. The 2023 model was named the North American Utility Vehicle of the Year™. It may look like an SUV, but it acts a lot like a sedan in terms of handling and zip.

The Kia EV6 is an all-electric crossover with an impressive set of performance specs, whether you need a new vehicle for a daily commute or weekly errands. See the numbers behind the power of this Kia EV car.

Kia Sorento Hybrid & PHEV

The Kia Sorento is the automaker’s classic SUV, updated for 2023 with the Kia Sorento Hybrid and PHEV models. They are full-size SUVs with plenty of cargo and passenger space for cross-country summer treks and weekly shopping trips.

The turbocharged hybrid powertrain gives you an astounding 655 miles of combined range using the hybrid and gasoline engines working with each other. The regular hybrid gets a best-in-class 35/39 city/highway mpg, while the PHEV gets an estimated 79 mpge. At a starting MSRP of $36,690 for the hybrid and $47,990 for the PHEV, these are two great choices with lots of interior space!

Kia Sportage Hybrid & PHEV

The Kia Sportage hybrid gets a best-in-class horsepower and includes massive interior room. This Kia SUV is a fantastic choice for families on the go when you want to save on your overall costs of ownership and fuel costs. The hybrid powertrain options mean fewer stops at the gas pump.
