The 2019 Stinger Has Been Named a Top Safety Pick Plus
Kia’s newest sedan earned top safety ratings. There are new key features that helped this vehicle earn such high ratings. It is one of ten Kia models that are now in the 2019 Insurance Institute Safety Awards.
One key reason for this award is due to the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist. It can avoid collisions, pedestrians, and other objects, and earned a superior testing rating. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded the 2019 Stinger a Top Safety Pick Plus rating to Kia Stingers with Forward Collision-Avoidance Assists. To achieve this award, the vehicle must obtain a “good” rating in six different types of crash tests. This was achieved by the Stinger.
It also earned a “good” rating for its new LED projector headlights. Additionally, the Stinger is equipped with Driver Attention Warning, which helps distracted drivers to keep alert. If the driver is inattentive, it will sound a warning and alert the driver to take a break from driving. It is also equipped with Lane Keeping Assist, which will sound a warning and display steering input for times where the vehicle isn’t in the intended lane.
Aside from being safe, the vehicle is also Kia’s fastest and best-performing vehicle of Kia. This vehicle is new and is supposed to be an upgrade for Kia vehicles. These new features make for a safer car that will make driving a better experience. Being a Top Safety Pick Plus makes the Kia Stinger perfect for families with children, as they are sure to be in a safer car. In general, all drivers wish to be safe. This car is perfect for being safe, fast, and performing well.
