In the event of an emergency, our Kia warranty is available for roadside assistance. Over 17,000 trusted roadside assistance providers are available 24 hours a day, anywhere within the United States. Travel Safely

If a Kia warranty-related emergency does occur more than 150 miles away from your home and requires heavy repairs that take over 24 hours to complete, Kia will provide reimbursement for meals, hotels, or rental car expenses. What is Not Covered by Kia Warranty?

Your Kia warranty will not cover basic maintenance such as oil changes, filters, tires, or belts, and brake changes. We recommend that you adhere to the recommended maintenance schedule to keep your warranty valid.

Other Important Terms

Understanding the limitations of your Kia warranty allows you to be a more knowledgeable consumer. Placed below is a list of other terms that may be important to keep in mind when considering your next Kia purchase.

• Your Kia warranty exists for either the years OR mileage of your vehicle, whichever comes first.
• Our 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty covers everything except maintenance, wear-and-tear, and external damage to your vehicle. It is important to note, however, that this warranty is transferable IF and WHEN you decide to sell your vehicle.
• Under your warranty, your vehicle’s audio system is covered for 3-years or 36,000 miles.
• By federal law, the main computer or electronic control module in ALL vehicles is covered for 8-years or 80,000 miles.
• The 10-year/100,000-mile coverage goes above the 5-year basic warranty to include powertrain, internal engine combustion, internal engine transmission, wheel bearings, and axels. This option is NOT transferable.
